Thetis Blacker Retrospective Exhibition
Thetis Blacker was probably the foremost practitioners of the Batik style. Her work adorns galleries, homes and places of worship around the world. In 2002 she received an honorary doctorate from Durham University. In 2009, three years after her death, a retrospective exhibition of her work was held in Grey College. The photographs below are from the Private View.
